This is Isla Nublar. It's a hundred miles west of Costa Rica, and a hundred miles east of Las Cinco Muertes. It's a biological preserve designed to drive kids out of their minds. Our attractions. In a few words, right up a paleontologist's alley. And it's been in development for five years, but every single electrified fence is new. We have fine dining, rides, and a charming view of the sunsets. The only problems are the power outages. You see, most theme parks have roller coasters or animatronic characters. We have… dinosaurs.

After recently seeing How to Train Your Dragon and Jurassic World Rebirth in theaters, I suppose it was inevitable that my artistic mind would marry the two films. And the result is How to Train Your Dinosaur: my reimagined take on the iconic How to Train Your Dragon movie poster with a Jurassic Park theme. Instead of Hiccup reaching out to touch Toothless, Dr. Alan Grant is reaching out to touch Rexy.

This was a really fun piece, and I created it with Ohuhu alcohol markers, Prismacolor Nupastels, and Faber-Castell pastel pencils on 6 x 8in Artist's Loft mixed media paper.
